The Story of Cooper
The Little Rescue Mascot Who Found His Way to Hucklepuff Ranch.
Long before Cooper became the Rescue Mascot of Hucklepuff Ranch, he was a tiny pup in Texas waiting for someone to give him a second chance.
Cooper may have been small, but there was something everyone noticed about him right away:
He had an enormous heart. His journey began in Abilene, Texas, a very long way from the mountains of Montana. Cooper
needed a home, but the family meant for him wasn't just across town.
They were hundreds of miles away.
That's when some very special people stepped in. With the help of an animal flight rescue organization, Cooper took to the skies and began an incredible journey north. Eventually, he arrived safely at a Montana animal shelter.
Cooper didn't know it yet, but his biggest adventure was about to begin. Because someone was coming to meet him. And sometimes, when the right person and the right little dog find each other, they just know. Cooper had found his family.
Cooper Comes to Hucklepuff Ranch.
When Cooper eventually arrived at Hucklepuff Ranch, Huxley was one of the first to welcome him. Huxley showed Cooper the barn, the lavender fields, the winding trails, and all the strange and
wonderful friends who called the ranch home.
Cooper couldn't believe it. There were squishy friends. Stretchy friends. Fluffy friends. Friends with paws, horns, wings, fins—and a few friends that nobody had quite figured out yet. But Huxley explained the most important rule of Hucklepuff Ranch:
You don't have to match to belong.
Cooper understood that better than most.
After all, his own journey had taken him across the country before he finally found the place where he belonged. So Cooper decided he had found his job. From that day forward, no new friend would ever have to arrive at Hucklepuff Ranch
alone.
The Rescue Mascot
Today, Cooper is known as Cooper the Rescue Mascot. Whenever a new friend arrives at the ranch feeling frightened, different, or unsure, Cooper is usually the first one there.
He gives them the grand tour. He introduces them to Huxley and the rest of the ranch family. And if they're nervous?
Cooper simply sits beside them until they're ready. Because he remembers what it feels like to be the new little pup wondering what happens next. Around his neck, Cooper proudly wears his signature purple Hucklepuff Ranch bandana.
And like every special Hucklepuff friend, he carries the Forever Paw—a little golden heart that
represents something Cooper knows better than anyone:
Being chosen can change a life.
Cooper's journey started hundreds of miles away. It took airplanes, rescuers, an animal shelter, and a family willing to say yes. But somehow, every part of that journey led him exactly where he was supposed to be. Home.
And now Cooper spends his days making sure every new friend who arrives at Hucklepuff Ranch knows one very important thing:
Every friend deserves a forever home.
And, at Hucklepuff Ranch, sometimes the smallest paws leave the biggest footprints.
